Love In All The Wrong Places?

A radiant bride greeted her guests with a brillant smile as she entered the reception hall after the wedding ceremony. She gracefully moved about the room, the train of her white gown flowing along the floor behind her, her veil cascading down her button-adorned back.
She converses with each guest, one by one, taking the time to mingle and soak up the compliments. The lavish praises rang on and on. The bride couldn't be more proud or more appreciative of the crowd's adoration. She could have listened to them swoon over her all evening. As a matter of fact, she did!
But where is the groom? All the attention focoused on the bride and never once on the groom. She didn't even notice his absence at her side. Scanning the room, i searched for him, wondering, where could he be?
I finally found him, but not where i expected him to be. The groom stood alone in the corner of the room with his head down. As he stared at his ring, twisting the gold band that his bride has just placed on his finger, tears trickled down his cheeks and onto his hands. That is when i noticed the nail scars. The groom was Jesus.

This was a dream that the author had.
Jesus, Im sorry that i've hurted You so badly when I look for love in all the wrong places. I want You to be my first love. As crazy as it may sound to all of you reading this, I want my Jesus to fill the holes and gaps in me.

I use to be so terrified to write about Jesus in my blog. I keep thinking about how my friends might be uncomfortable and such. Maybe you are, i unno. But I realise that I've been putting others before my God. And that's wrong. I've been putting my own desires before Him. I guess that's why i stumble and fall. I hate my inability to control my thoughts. Its like how the Bible puts it, I dont do good things but rush headfirst to do the bad stuff. sigh.. Its not like Im going to be a nun but God just have to be first. Lord, help me put You first.
