Ever so often, i hear people say, "I love music". I said the same phrase a few times before. However, I think i should say, "I love listening to music" instead.
Being picky with words, aren't I?
I do love listening to music but to say that i love music is quite a lie, really. Of course, i love the rhythm and the melody and the meaningful lyrics and the whole nine miles. I love how some songs seem to speak about the situations I'm in or even when they bring me to tears.
But i know nuts about this thing called music.
Questions:
Where did jazz come from?
Whats reggae?
Why is blues called blues? Why cant they call it Greens or something?
How did metal rock ever come about?
How come there's so many types of guitars? What difference does it make?
How did the first instrument look like? Which one is its modern day relative?
Why do humans like music so much?
Me and my curiosity.
