Sometimes, its crazy how people do some things just to be normal. I'm not speaking in the context of "teenage normalcy" like how some girls (and guys) become anorexic just to be 'normally thin'. I'm talking about people who has to go for extensive medical treatments just to live a normal life like you and me. Yet, they keep their ordeals discreet so that they don't receive the pity attention that they hate.
Of course, all that i've said could be purely fictional. I've never really known anyone who has gone through life like this. Unless, i knew that person and they never told me about it.
I've been reading this book The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen. Terrific writer. NO kidding. The book's about a girl who went from losing a dad to being Little Miss Perfect and then to seeing that her flaws are actually her strengths. Her change started during summer break when she started working for this crazily chaotic chatering company. As she started to get closer to her co-worker, Wes, she learns that she doesn't always have to be perfect. Every square doesnt have to be a square.
