wanna hear a story?

this is a story untold..

my mum wanted to adopt another baby. at first, i was totally, all out, against it. i didnt want to wake up in the middle of the night to the cries of babies. well, al lease not yet. i didnt want to change stinky poopoo diapers not even wipe their drool. babies are fun to play with, not fun to take care off. my mum also had her doubts. she was afraid of the paperwork that we'll need to get for the baby coz the parents are not malaysians. my dad didnt agree to it too.

however, my aunt later informed us that the baby got adopted by another lady. well, good for you:) the sad thing was that my cousin, who also adopted a child of her own, got a down-syndromed baby girl. they didnt realise it at first but as the child begun to grow, it became more and more obvious. they're now sending her to therapy and we can all see that she's getting better. more response:) and she have the most gorgeous eyes!

the same cousin also tried to adopt another baby. this time, it was a boy. from my aunt's description, twas a charming baby boy. everyone adored him but luck was just not on his side. when my couz brought him for a check up. they found out about a hole in his heart. the doctor said that the hole will heal over time, i think, but he will still be an unhealthy child. he would not have enough oxygen when he runs and all that. his fingernails will turn bluish.

family members and the docter advised her not to adopt the baby. worried that she might be overstressed with a kid with a hole in the heart and a down syndromed daughter. how will she cope? so, the decision was made. the baby was handed back.

i feel really sorry for that baby boy. just coz of his unwanted condition by fate that he was rejected. he didnt ask for the hole. he didnt ask for an out-of-wedlock birth. he didnt ask for illigetimate parents.

his fate is a sad one. i wish i could have done something for that lil baby. will he even survive? his fate was passed on. uncertainty beholds.

truth be told.
